BIOGRAPHY
I was born in 1969 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and lived there until I
was five years old when my family moved to Sark in the Channel
Islands where I am now the resident engineer on the island for
Cable & Wireless Guernsey Ltd, the local Telecom Provider. I was
educated at the local primary school and then went to Elizabeth
College in Guernsey and served a happy time there, as a boarder.
After a brief spell working in the UK and trying several different
things I ended up back in Guernsey working in a bank.
After becoming incredibly bored I returned home to Sark where I
built a house, married and started a family. I am married to Liz
(understanding) and have a five year old son, Sam (noisy!).
My work is varied and I combine a busy workday with a varied social
life based around spending time with my family and playing and
coaching sport. I am also heavily involved at an administrative
level of our local sports club, which promotes and encourages sport
for all.
To relax, I especially enjoy reading and cookery and of course
watching sport on TV! I have been known to enjoy the odd half down
at my local pub!

CHARITIES
|
We will be raising money for the
Guernsey GOSH appeal
which is raising funds to build an accommodation block at
Great Ormond Street.
Every year dozens of Guernsey children are treated at the
world famous Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. The
accommodation for both children and parents desperately
needs upgrading. This appeal aims to raise funds to help build
and furnish a Guernsey floor in the planned "Patient Hotel",
opposite the Hospital, which will benefit local children and
their parents for years to come.
